Jamie asks 'What do you wish to do one day?"
As I thought about it, I was reminded of a
new favorite quote by Mary Oliver;
Tell me what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?
I love this quote, it reminds me about the importance of
a little planning so I can fully enjoy the time that's
been given to me.
I totally love knowing all the earthy details
are taken care of...it's the whole Taurus/Capricorn thing
in my astrological chart.
The problem is I tend to get locked in to
the plan and I have a hard time
letting go of it.
But in holding on too tightly to the plan
I forget to allow things to unfold
in divine organic timing.
I used to think 'one day' was much
too vague because that's a time frame
that will never come but I've changed
Goddess Leonie's Goddess Year Planner
has helped me let go a little more
As I plan my Goddess year, I'm thinking of
things to do 'one day' during the course of
That's given me a change to dream
to get quiet and let possibilities surface
little seedling desires I didn't
know I had hidden within myself.
And as I go back through my plan
periodically during the year, I discover
that much of what I had dreamed about
had come into form with little or no effort!
So today, I wish to continue to write down all those
'one day' dreams so I can start the process
of taking them from 'one day' into the place
where I can say, "Today is the day!"
