The Most Sacred Times

These were the most sacred times; going out  to a cafe and sitting with a warm cup of tea or coffee on the table, watching people come and go as I wonder about their lives.

These were the most sacred times; being bored and getting in the car to drive to the store just to walk around but also coming back with somethings that maybe we needed but often we didn't really.

These were the most sacred times; another cafe but this time with yarn in hands moving across the needles and listening to her stories since the last time we got to meet.

These were the most sacred times: gathering our group and picking the time, meeting in the lobby and grabbing some over priced snacks.  The conversation afterwards what we liked, what we didn't like and everything that spun off from there

These were the most sacred times; waiting at the library because the internet is faster there.  Refreshing the browser again and again all to get 4 tickets to see the hottest boy band in the world and then the real anticipation began as we talked about what we'd wear and what it would be like to breath the same air and would the weather hold.
