I've been container gardening for years and each year my garden gets a little bigger as I make space for new things while continuing to grow things I love. It's part of my earthy nature to dig deep in the dirt and work with Mother Nature. I fantasize about one day having nothing but jars of home grown preserved produce (mostly from my own garden) in my pantry. I long to have my hands in the dirt and usually at the beginning of April, I have my garden boxes cleaned out and planted or ready to be. But our weather has been so wonky and my schedule so unpredictable that I haven't made time to do this. Yet the spring growing season is happening weather my boxes are ready or not. So when Jamie asked the Wishcasting Wednesday question I knew right away what my answer would be.
What do you wish to tend?
My garden. I took a picture of what it looks like today. We're supposed to be getting a massive storm over the next few days which is supposed to clear out by the weekend. My gently set goal is to be out there in my garden, trim the dead stuff, get the boxes emptied of weeds and topped up with soil, and start my compost bin. Hey...Weather Gods! I need your help to make this work please and thank you!!
